Music Is the Weapon (And More) In Distortions

A violin in one hand, a journal in the other. Distortions is about a girl with no recollection of who she was, one who is journeying through a beautiful world filled of masked, mystical creatures. Use your violin to make your way through this place, creating friendships, altering environments, or creating explosions as you wander its mysterious landscapes.

Distortions thrusts players into an open-world full of depth and grand creatures. Players will have only two main items at their disposal during their travels: a violin and a journal. The journal contains notes about the inhabitants of the world and keys to solving the land's puzzles, which players will need to overcome to progress. Your violin is your tool to figuring out these puzzles, with your music creating explosions, barriers, rendering you invisible, and doing many more things that will help you make your way across the land.

In order to defeat the masked monsters, you must master your violin. There will be a total of 5 abilities and 3 ways to play the violin. Requiring some dexterity, fans of rhythm and music titles may have a slight advantage! Don't worry if you can't get it right away, as game offers a free play mode where you can practice your music and even maybe trigger a hidden event.

Players will find a wide range of exploration throughout Distortions, as the game features both open-world and side-scrolling sequences that drive its strong theatrical value. Pairing this with its powerful narrative, in both the colorful and mysterious world with the "White World", yields a wealth of striking visuals and storytelling for players helping the girl wander this place built from distorted memories.

You can purchase Distortions on Steam here. You can also check out the official website and Twitter!
