Save 20% On PS4 Pre-Orders For These Games In The US

As you may know, both Amazon and Best Buy have programs that offer 20% off video game pre-orders. Amazon's is called Amazon Prime, and Best Buy's is called Gamers Club Unlocked. But to participate in those programs, you have to pay money upfront. Thanks to a PlayStation Store promotion called Totally Digital, you can save 20% on select PS4 game pre-orders without spending any additional money at all. Six games are in the program, and the first two launch April 24.

The first two games to get 20% pre-order discounts are The Swords of Ditto and To Leave. The Swords of Ditto is a cartoonish co-op RPG that borrows more than a little from both Adventure Time and the top-down Legend of Zelda games--but it's not without ideas of its own. To Leave is a platformer about a manic depressive man who uses a magical flying door to navigate the environment. Let's just leave it at that.

Guns of Icarus Alliance, launching May 1, is a game of airship combat in which up to 32 players can team up in groups of four to duke it out for air supremacy. Trailblazers is a team-based racing game with a hint of Splatoon. As you drive, you can paint the track your team's color. When your teammates drive on your paint, they get a speed boost.

The last two games aren't available to pre-order at the time of this writing, but they will be on April 24. Laser League is a futuristic "combat sport" that has two teams trying to create an impossible obstacle course of lasers to eliminate their opponents. NBA Playgrounds 2 is an arcade basketball game that boasts a roster of over 200 current and retired NBA stars.

Sony says it will announce more games for the Totally Digital program on April 24.

Note: Non-PS Plus members only save 10% on The Swords of Ditto, though they save the full 20% on all the other games.
