5 big new releases to look out for on PlayStation Store this week

Nostalgia abounds on PlayStation Store this week! 12 classic Street Fighter games come together in the franchise’s 30th Anniversary collection and 50 retro hits arrive in Sega Mega Drive Collection. Relive the golden age of arcade games from the comfort of your own home!

Elsewhere, To The Top offers an exciting parkour experience on PlayStation VR, Yoku’s Island Express is a unique blend of pinball and exploration in a colourful hand-painted world, and cyber-noir action platformer Shift Quantum demands some creative puzzle solving.

1. Street Fighter 30th Anniversary

Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Street Fighter franchise with a selection of 12 arcade titles, each pivotal to the series. Players all over the world can now grab their Dualshock 4 or their favourite PS4 fight stick and embrace the nostalgia. Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike will also be playable online!

2. Sega Mega Drive Collection

50 Sega Mega Drive classics unite in this single package filled with arcade platformers, shooters, beat ’em ups and puzzle games galore. Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Shining Force, Phantasy Star, Space Harrier, all three Streets of Rage games… enjoy some of the 16-bit generation’s best titles with brand-new online multiplayer, achievements, mirror modes, rewind and save states.

4. Yoku’s Island Express

Yoku is tackling the elements amid the Mokumana Mountains in order to organise a festive get together. Explore a hand-painted island and unlock amazing new abilities in this colourful pinball platformer. Flip and bump the pint-sized protagonist Yoku around to discover the mystery of the Fruit Altar and awaken an old god from its slumber.

5. Shift Quantum

Can you escape the labyrinth and find happiness? The dystopian Shift Quantum program is testing your ability to shift the world, twist your environment and bend your mind. Escape through 117 campaign levels by inverting the world to create negative space and transform barriers into escape routes. This gorgeous black and white puzzle platformer is sure to challenge your creative thinking.
