God Of War PS4 Is On Sale For $47 In The US

When a big new game comes out, it often takes months before we see a significant price drop. The PS4 exclusive God of War launched less than a month ago, but you can already get it for $47--that's more than 20% off. It's a good deal on a game that's received incredibly high marks from both critics and players. All you have to do is click here to get it from Newegg via Ebay. The discount appears when you add the game to your cart.

The most common way to get 20% off new games is to pre-order them with Amazon Prime or to be a Gamers Club Unlocked member through Best Buy. The problem is, those subscriptions cost money. They also only get you 20% off, which would bring the price down to $48. This deal saves you an extra dollar and doesn't require a paid membership. That's a win-win.

On the fence about buying God of War? Judging by its 94/100 score on our sister site Metacritic, you probably don't need to worry. The user score is also high at 9.2/10, indicating people who bought it tend to agree with reviewers.

From GameSpot's God of War review: "In many ways God of War is what the series has always been. It's a spectacular action game with epic set pieces, big-budget production values, and hard-hitting combat that grows more feverish and impressive as you progress. What may surprise you is how mature its storytelling has become. Like Kratos, God of War recalls the past while acknowledging the need to improve. Everything new it does is for the better, and everything it holds onto benefits as a result. Kratos is no longer a predictable brute. God of War is no longer an old-fashioned action series. With this reboot, it confidently walks a new path that will hopefully lead to more exciting adventures to come."

If that sounds good, get it while it's on sale. There's no indication of when the price may go back up to $60, so the sooner the better.
