Today is your last chance to grab June's Humble Monthly bundle. This month, for $12, you're guaranteed to get Destiny 2, plus a bundle of seven or eight other PC games worth over $100 that you can keep and play forever. The only catch is that most of the games in the bundle are a mystery until after you've paid.
That said, Humble has already announced two of the other games in June's Humble Monthly bundle. Also included in this batch is Cook, Serve, Delicious 2, a game that puts you in charge of a bunch of restaurants, unlocking new ones as you progress. You pick which restaurant you want to operate and let the customers stream in. The goal is to keep up with demand to maintain satisfied customers (and clean bathrooms). The other game is Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, a point-and-click adventure based on the bestselling novel.
If you subscribe for the June bundle, you'll be able to play Destiny 2 immediately. After that, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to download the rest of them (and find out what many of them are).
As a point of comparison, May's Humble Bundle games offered nine games, including Dead Rising 4, Kerbal Space Program, and Ruiner, and more. The games usually come in the form of Steam codes that are saved in your Humble account. Unlike PlayStation Plus, you get to keep and play your Humble Monthly games forever, whether you have an active subscription or not.
Humble throws in a few extra bonuses for Humble Monthly subscribers as well. All active subscribers get 10% off every game in the Humble Store. They also get access to the Humble Trove, a collection of mostly well-received indie games. And if you subscribe for a full year, you save $12 off the monthly rate and (for a limited time) you get $25 added to your Humble Store account. Plus, 5% of Humble's proceeds go to charity.
All in all, Humble Monthly is one of the best deals in PC gaming. And with Destiny 2 being the early unlock for June, now is a fine time to get started.
