The upcoming Ocean's 8 features one of the most impressive casts of the year, with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, and Anne Hathaway heading up the comedy thriller. The movie is a reboot of the hugely successful Oceans's Eleven series, and it hits theaters next week. A final trailer has now been released.
This trailer focuses on the eight leading ladies, which also include Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and Sarah Paulson. The movie looks the like the same mix of snappy dialogue and heist thrills that made the original trilogy so popular--check it out below:
In a recent interview with People, Bullock spoke about working a movie with such a strong female cast. "It felt like it was a long time coming," she said. "Too long if you ask me--which you did--but I'm just so grateful that it happened. It felt like we had all been kept in solitary confinement from each other. Kind of like an 'actress quarantine' and when we all found ourselves like sardines in the trailer that first day, it was like the dam burst and we all made up for lost time."
Ocean's 8 is directed by The Hunger Games' Gary Ross and produced by Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the earlier movies. It releases on June 8--check out the earlier trailers here and here.
Ocean's Eleven earned $450 million worldwide in 2001. While the two sequels weren't quite as successful, they all proved to be considerable box office hits, helping the franchise reach more than $1.1 billion at the box office.
