The Humble Store has a nice surprise anyone with a gaming PC can take advantage of between now and July 28. If you head over to the Guns of Icarus Alliance page, you can get a copy of the game on Steam for free. It's compatible with PC, Mac, and Linux, and you can keep and play it forever. All you need is a Humble account and a computer powerful enough to run it.
Guns of Icarus Alliance is a game of team-based airship battles set in a steampunk world. Much like Sea of Thieves, it has you and your teammates work together, taking on roles of pilot, gunner, and engineer to control the ship and engage in sky battles against enemies.
Alliance is an expanded version of 2012's Guns of Icarus Online. While Online was a PvP-only game, Alliance adds a number of PvE experiences to the mix. So now players can team up to fight other real-life opponents or run base assaults, convoy raids, and escort missions against AI-controlled enemies.
While you're at the Humble Store, you can also take a look at the CI Games Humble Bundle that's currently available. You can spend as little as $1 to receive three older games, or pay more to get additional tiers of games. Paying $15 gets you six games and a couple of expansions, including the entire Sniper: Ghost Warrior series and Lords of the Fallen: Game of the Year Edition.
Also available at the online retailer is the Humble Monthly for August 2018. It costs $12, and right when you subscribe, you can download A Hat in Time, The Escapists 2, and Conan Exiles. More games in the bundle will be revealed and made available to subscribers on August 3, after the subscription window has closed for the month.
