Top 10 UK Games Chart: Crash Bandicoot Beats The Crew 2 In Debut Week

Crash Bandicoot's N. Sane Trilogy launched on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC just recently, and those versions have gone straight to No.1 in the UK physical sales charts ahead of The Crew 2, which launched the same day, June 29. Ubisoft's open-world racer debuts at No.2, with FIFA 18 continuing to enjoy a football-filled summer at No.3.

Last week's No.1, Mario Tennis Aces, slips to No.4 for the week ending June 30. In addition, retailer promotions mean there's jumps for a few 2016 titles: Star Wars Battlefront II and Destiny 2 re-enter the top 40 at No.7 and No.16, respectively, while Middle-earth: Shadow of War rises 12 places to No.13.

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy first launched on PS4 a year ago, but has only just gone multiplatform. It also has a brand-new level out now that's included in the new editions of the game and available as a free download on PS4.

The Crew 2, meanwhile, launched for the first time on June 29, and we've enjoyed it so far here at GameSpot. Our critic, Edmond Tran, awarded the racer an 8/10 in our The Crew 2 review-in-progress.
