Roads between towns are filled with dangerous beasts and men. Only a handful of people take on the journey to deliver messages, clear foes, and perform other unsavory tasks.
Roadwarden is a narrative RPG that lets players forge their character with the choices they make on this trying journey.
Taking place in the same setting as Tales from Windy Meadows and The Tavern, Roadwarden adds a new and thrilling story to the fantasy series. Players will be able to travel along these roads to complete quests for NPCs in order to gain their trust. It could be as simple as delivering a message, but along the treacherous roads, it is a task for only the bravest.
Roadwarden also wants players to investigate thoroughly. You’ll be given tons of information and, if you’re paying close enough attention, you’ll be able to piece together some deeper mysteries, rewarding those who dig into the depths to find the truths of the world.
As you journey and face choices, your character will grow and your personality will change along with it. Will you end your journey quietly, the tranquil road your only friend? Will you be selfish in your actions, taking what you want? Will you make bonds with your fellow people and find some purpose for yourself beyond fighting your way along the lonesome dirt paths? It’s entirely your decision as you wander these dangerous paths.
