Mixing the elements of sliding tiles and a deadly dungeon, DungeonMaze wants players to plot their path to victory. Wisely, though, or you’ll end up on the business end of a nasty trap.
Players will be given 6 characters to start with, each with skills to improve upon to make this dangerous crawl a fruitful one. As you journey, you’ll find weapons and items to use against some of the encounters you will have within the dungeon. Luckily, these monsters seem to only stalk you until you dare to smack them – then all bets are off.
The movement style is somewhat similar to a slide puzzle. If you move your character up, the prize below you moves along to your previous spot (and the one below that, etc). This is an interesting mechanic as it may have you rerouting to get around obstacles that are now in a less-than-beneficial place. It certainly requires more thought than simply clearing a floor without worry. Especially with all that treasure popping up.
