Amazon Prime Day 2019: Get PS4 Controllers At $20 Off (US)

Need a new PS4 controller? Amazon's Prime Day sale is a good opportunity to pick one up at a discount, as they're going for around $20 off the usual price, depending on which color you opt for. Peripherals don't tend to go on sale often, so this is one of the few opportunities you'll get to grab new or extra controllers without taking a serious hit to your wallet.

The red version is available for $45, while the blue, black, and gold DualShock 4 wireless controllers are being listed for $47 on Amazon. The camo print in green, meanwhile, is going for $50 and $60 in blue.

These will be the updated version of the controller released around the same time as the PS4 Pro, which means the touchpad is curved over the top of the controller a little, making it easier to hit without using your thumbs. Other than that, the controller is largely the same, solid PlayStation pad.

If you're in the market for Switch controllers too, the Prime Day sale has discounted Joy-Cons. As noted previously, peripherals like controllers rarely go on sale, and that's especially true of Nintendo's peripherals, so if you think you might want one soon, it's worth considering it now.
