Amazon Prime Day: PlayStation Classic Going For $20 For Limited Time (US)

Let's be honest, the PlayStation Classic wasn't received very well. Unlike the NES and SNES Classics that it aimed to copy the success of, the PS Classic wasn't as slick from a usability perspective, its emulation was questionable, and it lacked some important features. At its original asking price of $100, it wasn't a smart purchase, but at just $20 the novelty may be enough to make it worthwhile.

It might be Amazon Prime Day but other retailers are also looking to cash in. This means you've got a few options when it comes to getting the PlayStation Classic. It's $20 on Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

Included in the box is a very small version of the PlayStation and two USB controllers--the price almost makes it worth getting for those controllers alone. When you boot up the PlayStation Classic, you'll be able to play games such as Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, Rayman, Tekken 3, and Grand Theft Auto, among others.

Best Buy is hosting a 48-hour flash sale where, alongside the PlayStation Classic, there are deals on TVs, laptops, games, smartphones and more. Similarly, Target has doorbuster deals for everything from video games and peripherals to headphones, TVs and more.
