Bandai Namco Entertainment Just Announced ‘Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare’ for iOS and Android with an August Release Planned and Pre-Registrations Now Live

Bandai Namco Entertainment just announced Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare for iOS and Android. Usually, I’d be following this up with details of how games like this never get localised and how you will likely need to make a Japanese iTunes Store account to download this. Thankfully, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a localisation right from the get go. The game is titled Gundam Breaker Mobile in Japan. Watch the trailer for it below:

Over the last few years and especially since getting into PS Vita game imports, I’ve slowly been playing through the various Gundam Breaker games. I love Gundam Breaker 3 that only saw an English release in Asia for PS4 and PS Vita. The game involves you controlling a mobile suit to destroy others and collect parts ot upgrade your own suit. Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare is the localised name and I assume this is because the latest entry New Gundam Breaker that debuted on PS4 and PC platforms was a complete mess and they don’t want to associate with the Breaker name in the West anymore.

Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare launches on August 21st. It feautres 3D battles and has exclusive gunpla and characters. You can pre-order it on the App Store here or pre-register for it on Google Play for Android here. You can pre-register for it on the official English website here as well. Have you played any of the Gundam games on console?
