‘Combo Postage’ is About the Dangers of Packing Up Boxes

All you need to do is tape up some boxes and move them along. Somehow, this becomes a deadly experience in Combo Postage.

The actions of a certain colossal company that’s not keen on paying taxes notwithstanding, taping a box and mailing it out isn’t typically a dangerous experience for the workers who take care of it. In Combo Postage, though, you need to get those boxes sealed and off the work floor as fast as possible lest you incur the wrath of Penalty Cubes. Work too slowly and crushing, laser-firing machines will be sent to encourage your work smarter AND harder.

If you want those big time scores, though, you’ll want the boxes to stack up higher. You get a better combo for taping and stomping a big pile of boxes all at once, but if you leave them towering for long, expect a cube to come hurtling down. It’ll not only mess up your tower, but may also start spraying fiery death all around you. Between the lasers, fires, and falling boxes, you can expect to lose this job in a hurry if you aren’t careful. And good luck getting Workers Comp for your injuries.

Combo Postage isn’t entirely for those who want a grueling taping experience. You can adjust its challenge level by dictating whether Penalty Cubes come or not, altering how fast its challenge level rises, and fiddle with more options to customize your shipping experience. Maybe you just like taping up boxes with a cute character. The game allows for that (and lets you rebind keys, too). Whatever your box-taping desires, they’re sure to be met here. And with some slightly nicer working conditions than what you’d find in other real-world workplaces.
