Dead Cells Hype Squad – The TouchArcade Show #407

On this week’s episode of The TouchArcade Show, we kick things off talking about some new data Facebook exposed regarding who is advertising to you which is … just a lil’ creepy. From there, we shift gears to talking about how great of a game Dead Cells is on the Switch and how we can’t wait to see how it turns out on mobile. We hit a bunch of other big stories like Candy Crush hitting its 5,000th level and a ton of other stuff. Also, if you’re not in it yet be sure to head over to GameClub.io to sign up to get Space Miner Blast next week (or listen to the podcast to find out how to get it now). Oh, and we quickly hit on the Switch Lite!

Don’t forget to shoot us emails with any questions, feedback, or anything else relevant or irrelevant to podcast@toucharcade.com. We read ’em all, and love decoding messages written entirely in emoji. As always, you can listen to us with the links below… And if you like what you hear, please subscribe and/or drop us a review in iTunes. Much appreciated!

As a companion to this audio podcast, we also do a video version of the same show that is exclusive to Patreon which allows you to see us playing the games we’re talking about. Backers can view the most recent video episodes of the TouchArcade show by clicking here. Be sure you’re logged in to see the latest content. This week’s episode of The TouchArcade Show is sponsored by Void Tyrant (Free).

Void Tyrant is a roguelike deck building adventure with the hit-or-stand mechanics of blackjack. It’s easy to pick up and learn but challenging to master.

Battle your way across the galaxy armed with only a deck of unique cards, a bit of strategy, and the powerful loot you find along the way. In this single-player adventure, you’ll uncover hundreds of cards, fight or befriend aliens, and grow increasingly more powerful as you explore planetary dungeons in an attempt to find the 6 Eyes of Chronos.
