Happy Birthday, America! – The TouchArcade Show #406

This week’s episode of The TouchArcade Show was recorded a couple of days earlier than usual, on Wednesday in fact, due to the Independence Day holiday here in America on Thursday and basically the entire country recovering from hangovers, blown off fingers, overeating, or all three on Friday. America! So due to the early nature of the recording we didn’t quite have as many news stories to talk about as usual, but being the resilient chaps we are, we still managed to fill out more than an hour of discussion about electric skateboards, dream bikes that never got created, and of course plenty of mobile gaming news!

Don’t forget to shoot us emails with any questions, feedback, or anything else relevant or irrelevant to podcast@toucharcade.com. We read ’em all, and love decoding messages written entirely in emoji. As always, you can listen to us with the links below… And if you like what you hear, please subscribe and/or drop us a review in iTunes. Much appreciated!

As a companion to this audio podcast, we also do a video version of the same show that is exclusive to Patreon which allows you to see us playing the games we’re talking about. This week’s episode of The TouchArcade Show is sponsored by Void Tyrant (Free).

Void Tyrant is a roguelike deck building adventure with the hit-or-stand mechanics of blackjack. It’s easy to pick up and learn but challenging to master.

Battle your way across the galaxy armed with only a deck of unique cards, a bit of strategy, and the powerful loot you find along the way. In this single-player adventure, you’ll uncover hundreds of cards, fight or befriend aliens, and grow increasingly more powerful as you explore planetary dungeons in an attempt to find the 6 Eyes of Chronos.

Download it for FREE on the App Store today.
