Frozen, snowswept lands stretch out all around you, and you’ll need to use your kayak, parachute, and dog sled team to survive within them in Arctico.
Arctico is a game of surviving in a cold, cold place. That means building a base for yourself, which is handy when a storm comes along, but it’s for more than just shelter. You’ve got science experiments to carry out, seeds to cultivate (or sell), and drills to set up to dig into the ice. Your base will be a central hub for all of this stuff as well as a place to keep warm, so take good care of it.
You’ll want to explore this frozen land while you’re here, and a parachute and kayak will be good for that. They allow you to survive drops or make a peaceful river crossing whenever you like. It’s dog sledding that will carry you far, though, with your team of pups helping you cross miles and miles of ice and snow. They’re a valuable lifeline and means of travel, so taking care of their needs is paramount.
Those dogs are more than just a vehicle that you have to feed, though. While there are some beautiful vistas to be seen, they don’t make up for the powerful loneliness you might feel while out here. The dogs can be welcome companions when you haven’t spoken to anyone in weeks. Besides, why wouldn’t you want to hang out with a whole pack of fluffy pals?
