With your trusty steed, take in a new magical world full of enemies to go toe-to-toe with. Stop into town, chat up the locals, or just ride aimlessly with your equine partner in Naima’s Melody.
In this pre-alpha demo, you will take control of a well-equipped hero fighting against local monsters. You’ll have a sword, shield, and bow to start off with. These tools are perfect for starting out, since different enemies will test your abilities to adapt against close and long-range combat. If you happen upon a town, you may find some extra aids to really pack a punch against these creatures, though.
If you’re like me, you’ll be wanting to test out the horseback-exploration side of the game, though. Naima’s Melody showcases a lush world to take in, and beautiful tunes to listen to as you explore. You’re free to hop on and off your horse as you please, if something catches your eye. You’ll definitely want to take the time to wander the towns to find items, as well as speak to some cute cat-folk.
Fans of the Zelda series will feel right at home with this retro-styled game that sets a stage for an adventure full of monsters, puzzles, and fun characters.
