Cyber Monday 2019 best game deals under $15
As Black Friday 2019 sales wind down and retailers gear up for Cyber Monday, there are still plenty of great game deals to be had, as many sales launched last week and will run through December 2 or later. Particularly when it comes to digital game sales, like those in the Nintendo Eshop, Steam, and PSN, some of the best game deals are still available as you don't have to worry about them going out of stock. With that in mind, we've rounded up the best games under $15 for Cyber Monday 2019--be sure to snag them before end of day tomorrow so you don't miss your chance.
If you're looking for advice, we suggest first looking at the deals that give you a collection of games--they offer you the most bang for your buck. You can nab Rocksteady's entire Batman Arkham trilogy--Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight--for $15, for instance. Both Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age: Inquisition are bundled together for the same price as well. There are quite a few indie darlings on this list too--Celeste and What the Golf being two notable examples--and several titles that were underappreciated at launch, such as Titanfall 2.
Please note that Xbox Live deal prices require a subscription to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Alan Wake Collector's Edition - $3 (Epic Games Store)
Alan Wake is well worth revisiting following the release of developer Remedy's latest game, Control, but it's also a horror game worth checking on its own merits. With its Twin Peaks-inspired vibes, unsettling use of live-action video, and intriguing story, it's a creepy, memorable experience.
Assassin's Creed Origins - $15 (Xbox Live)
Assassin's Creed Origins is the biggest transformation Ubisoft's franchise has undergone since 2012's Assassin's Creed III. The 2017 game moved the franchise away from social stealth and towards a loot-focused action RPG. It's a refreshing new coat of paint for a series that had begun to grow stale--and its story is no slouch either.
Batman Arkham Collection - $15 (Xbox Live)
For a fraction of their total retail price, you can get all three of Rocksteady's Batman games as well as all of the post-launch DLC that comes with them. The collection includes the standard version of Arkham Knight and full remastered versions of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
The BioWare Bundle - $15 (Xbox Live)
BioWare has been on a bit of a cold streak recently, but that wasn't always the case. Though both Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect: Andromeda don't live up to the quality of the previous titles in their respective series, both can offer hundreds of hours of the choice-driven, narrative RPG gameplay that BioWare is known for.
Celeste - $10 (Epic Games Store)
One of the best indie games of 2018, Celeste is a challenging platformer that uses the difficulty of its levels to convey both the sense of climbing a mountain and living with self-doubt or depression. The game tells an emotional tale full of beloved characters--and the music is some of the best heard in any video game.
Cities: Skylines - $6.75 (Green Man Gaming)
In the void left by the absence of the SimCity series, Cities: Skylines has picked up the ball and run with it, providing a deep but approachable take on city building. With numerous updates released over the years (and the option for even more content through its myriad expansion packs, which are also on sale), there's the potential for countless hours of entertainment here.
Civilization VI - $13.50 (Green Man Gaming)
The most recent game in Sid Meier's long-running strategy game series is another stellar entry--and the sort of thing that you can lose entire days to in the blink of an eye. Civ VI revamps numerous systems and is as good an entry point as any if you're new to the series but intrigued by the idea of navigating a civilization from its origins all the way up through the Space Age.
Dark Souls III - $15 (Xbox Live)
Though From Software created the Souls-like formula with Demon Souls, it was Dark Souls that put the evolving subgenre on the map. Dark Souls III concludes From Software's beloved franchise, offering answers to some of the series longest-standing questions and delivering many of the franchise's most challenging bosses. Don't worry, you don't need any context from the first two games to enjoy Dark Souls III.
God of War - $10 (PSN)
God of War was one of our ten nominees for game of the year in 2018, and though it ultimately fell short to Red Dead Redemption 2, that doesn't mean this PS4 exclusive is bad by any means. In fact, God of War is one of the most surprising games of 2018--transforming one of the most murderous and monstrous gaming protagonists ever into a sympathetic dad.
Grand Theft Auto V 5 - $10 (Xbox Live)
The massively successful Grand Theft Auto V comprises two distinct halves. The single-player portion of the game involves a lengthy story where you switch between three protagonists and involves taking part in multi-stage heists. GTA Online is also included with the package and grants access to the ever-evolving online multiplayer component of the game, where you can take part in numerous activities--including heists that let you and your friends team up for some memorable missions.
Hitman 2 - $15 (Xbox Live)
Hitman 2 builds on the foundation established by its immediate predecessor, functioning more a as a live-service platform for all of your assassination needs. Hitman 2 includes not just a variety of levels, but also access to a ton of developer- and fan-made content, ensuring you always have a new target to take down. And make no mistake: Hitman 2 is both a terrific action-puzzle game and downright hilarious.
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition - $10 (PSN)
Horizon may have been overshadowed for some due to it releasing so close to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it's nonetheless an excellent game that's still worth your time now. Featuring an expansive open world and an intriguing story about an apocalypse that results in the world being overrun by animal-like robots, Horizon boasts a fun combat system and terrific visuals. Better yet, this Complete Edition package bundles in the great Frozen Wilds DLC expansion.
Monster Hunter World - $15 (PSN/Xbox Live)
The most recent game in the Monster Hunter series is also its most approachable, but not without losing what makes it special. Monster Hunter World is all about lengthy encounters against huge monsters, whose attack patterns and behaviors you'll need to learn so you can effectively take them down over and over as you craft an arsenal of weapons and armor using materials you scavenge from them.
Persona 5 - $10 (PSN)
Persona 5 is arguably the most stylish game ever, with an incredible soundtrack and even menus that just look phenomenal. Like previous games in the series, it mashes together the dungeon-crawling aspects of the Shin Megami Tensei series with anime-inspired daily life sequences where you go to school, hang out with friends, and forge bonds. It's a must-play for RPG fans.
Rainbow Six: Siege Deluxe Edition - $10.80 (Green Man Gaming) / $12 (PSN/Xbox Live) / $8 (Epic Games Store)
Rainbow Six Siege has seen robust support ever since launch, consistently improving in numerous ways. The competitive shooter features a diverse array of characters with their own unique toolsets that they bring to a match, and combined with a bullet-penetration and destruction system that never lets you feel safe, Siege is a great option for anyone interested in a PvP shooter. Numerous versions of the game are on sale (including the cheaper base game), but the Deluxe edition will package the game with some of its earlier DLC Operators to give you a more robust slate of choices.
Rocket League - $10 (Xbox Live)
Rocket League is an extraordinarily simple game to learn: you boost around a stadium as a rocket-powered racecar and try to bump a ball into the opponent's goal. Despite this simplicity, the game has an incredibly high competitive ceiling--pushing you to learn new ways to control your car, whether on the ground or in the air. Matches are short and delightfully fun, making Rocket League ideal for those looking for a co-op game with friends.
Sunset Overdrive Deluxe Edition - $12 (Xbox Live)
Prior to Marvel's Spider-Man, Insomniac was redefining how traversal and combat can meld together in Sunset Overdrive--an Xbox One console exclusive that could really deserve a sequel. Sunset Overdrive is ludicrously absurd, but its jokes are genuinely humorous and the action is satisfying. Pulling off well-timed shots while wall-running between buildings is a blast and the story, though slow to start, delivers a pretty spectacular finishing act.
Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition - $4.49 (Xbox Live)
Titanfall 2 is one of the best first-person shooters of this console generation, delivering a well-written single-player campaign that contains some truly unique levels and an engaging multiplayer that still supports and active playerbase (at least on Xbox One).
What The Golf? - $13 (Epic Games Store)
What The Golf should not be confused for a golf game. You're often trying to hit an object toward a hole, sure, but the game features a diverse--and ridiculous--array of objectives. One moment you're launching your character's body toward the hole, and in another you're racing cars around a track or knocking over cats. It's a funny game that consistently manages to find new wrinkles to keep you entertained.
