Netflix has canceled another show after only one season. The streaming network has decided to not pick up Messiah for a second season, actor Wil Traval announced on Instagram.
"It's a very sad day today," he wrote. "I have just received news from Netflix that there will be no Season 2 of Messiah. I wanted to say to all the fans, thank you for your support and love. I wish things were different."
The show follows a CIA agent played by Michelle Monaghan who is tracking down a man (Mehdi Dehbi) whose followers believe he is the second coming of Jesus.
