Marvel has just dropped a surprise announcement that it has a brand new non-fiction show, Marvel's Storyboards, streaming for free from Thursday July 23. The series features Marvel Entertainment's creative director Joe Quesada as he interviews famous storytellers of all kinds, following them to their favourite haunts around New York City and beyond.
Unsurprisingly, the show will feature Marvel-linked storytellers such as The Life Of Captain Marvel writer Margaret Stohl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's Natalia Cordova-Buckley, and Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman. Storyboards will also follow people who fit a less traditional definition of the 'storyteller' term, however, including former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir and high-altitude mountaineer Ed Viesturs.
"Whether you choose to speak through your words or through your actions, we are all storytellers with something to share," Quesada explained. "With all of us now spending so much more time at home, we felt it was more important than ever to make these inspirational stories accessible to as many people as possible and share them with the world."
