‘Pocket City 2’ Is a 3D Follow Up to the Excellent City Builder ‘Pocket City’ Now in Development for iOS and Android

Codebrew Games’ excellent city builder Pocket City ($2.99) is one of my favourite games on mobile. It has been getting quite a few updates since launch with new features and fixes. Check out our review of the original here. Over the weekend, Codebrew Games announced that development for Pocket City 2 has begun. For Pocket City 2, it is being built for 3D visuals but retains a lovely aesthetic as shown in the teaser video below. Pocket City 2 is currently in development for iOS and Android and it will feature a gorgeous night theme as well. Check out the teaser in the Tweet from Codebrew Games below:

Pocket City 2 doesn’t have a release window yet but it is something we will be following closely. If you’d like to play the original and haven’t gotten it yet, you definitely should if you enjoy city builders and want one that feels great on mobile. The original Pocket City is available on iOS and Android right now. As of now it is the closed to a proper premium Sim City like experience on mobile. We featured it as our Game of the Week when it released as well. Do you play Pocket City regularly and what do you want to see in the sequel that we are now looking forward to playing?
