Borderlands 3 Patch Introduces A New Event Called Gear Rush

The latest update for Borderlands 3 has arrived, bringing with it the newest in-game event.

The new event is called Gear Rush. During the event, rare-level chests are more likely to appear in the battle royale-style Arms Race mode. Additionally, DAHL chests found in Stormblind Complex will be more likely to contain special gear exclusive to Arms Race.

There is a risk involved with all of this, however, as the update also makes the murder hurricane--the Murdercane, as it's called--close faster than before.
