Lin-Manuel Miranda's Vivo Moves To Netflix, First Trailer May Arrive Today

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda's new animated movie, Vivo, is now headed to Netflix. The movie was previously scheduled for a theatrical release through Sony Pictures on June 4, but now it will come to Netflix. A release date has not been announced.

Netflix acquired the global rights to Vivo for all regions except China, according to Deadline. Vivo was directed by Kirk DeMicco (The Croods) and Brandon Jeffords (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2). Miranda wrote and performed original songs for it.

It appears the first trailer for Vivo is set for release sometime today, April 27.
