The long-in-development Masters of the Universe movie has lost its star. According to Collider, Noah Centineo is no longer set to start as He-Man, the lead character from the '80s toy and cartoon franchise.
The news was confirmed by a representative for Centineo, who stated the actor "is no longer attached to that project." No reason for Centineo's departure from Masters of the Universe has been announced.
Centineo was announced in the role of He-Man in 2019. He was recently cast as Atom Smasher in the upcoming DC movie Black Adam, and also appeared in Charlie's Angels and To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
