Cartoon Network has announced that they will reveal a sneak peek clip from the upcoming feature film, Space Jam: A New Legacy on Friday, July 2. To catch the full clip, introduced by actor Cedric Joe (who plays Lebron James' son, Dom), fans can watch the Season 3 finale of Craig of the Creek at 10:00 AM ET.
In the clip, we see Porky Pig, a character known for his stuttering stammer, start a rap battle and delivers a few verses before dropping the mic. According to a statement by Cartoon Network, the full version will be performed by not only Porky, Al-G Rhythm (Don Cheadle), and Daffy Duck. It'll also have instrumental and acapella versions as well. In the meantime, you can watch a small tease below.
In the vein of the original movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy stars LeBron James as he goes on an epic adventure with Bugs Bunny and your favorite Warner Bros animated characters--and some of pop culture's most recognizable figures to get back his son. When both LeBron and his son, Dom, are trapped in the digital realm by a rogue AI, LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny, Porky, Daffy, and the whole gang of Looney Tunes characters to victory over the AI's own computer-generated champions.
