The Expendables is getting a fourth movie, as reported by Deadline. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture are slated to reprise their roles as Barney Ross, Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen and Toll Road respectively. New additions to the star-studded cast include Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Tony Jaa, and Megan Fox.
Scott Waugh, director of Need for Speed and Act of Valor, will be helming the film. Production on the upcoming film begins this fall. The new Expendables movie's screenplay was written by Spenser Cohen and revised by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
Since the film series debuted in 2010, The Expendables' ensemble cast of Hollywood's greatest action movies stars has featured cameos of Chuck Norris, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Harrison Ford, Ronda Rousey, and Wesley Snipes. The Expendables franchise has grossed $804M in the global box office.
