As the weather is starting to change to cooler and more comfortable temps near you, it can only mean one thing: October and all your favorite seasonal programming is right over the horizon. Disney+ is doing its part by peppering October with tons of new stuff to meet your Halloween needs.
The obvious big headliner in that regard is Muppets Haunted Mansion, which will be available starting October 8. Here's the official logline for the upcoming special: "The Great Gonzo-- world famous daredevil artiste, has done it all, seen it all, and survived it all. But on Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life by spending one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth… The Haunted Mansion." An early list of the cast includes some pretty fun celebrity guests including Will Arnett, Danny Trejo, Yvette Nicole Brown, and notably also Ed Asner in one of his final performances.
On October 6, What If…? will be airing its season finale. The animated series exploring the Marvel multiverse is wrapping up its first batch of episodes then, and on October 27, we'll be getting a peek behind the curtains with an Assembled episode that gets into how the show was made. Assembled is a new documentary series of specials that goes behind the scenes on MCU shows and movies.
